Bead Bar Final This paper will concentrate on how to improve the Bead Bar’s business with new technology and what to use. The Bead Bar is a business that permits its consumers to produce unique costume jewelry using materials such as wire, beads and string. Presently, there are three branches of the business which are one studio, two franchises,

and three Bead Bars on Board. The purpose the Bead Bar studio division is to oversee the Bead Bar studios that have two locations in New York City, one in Long Island, one in Boston, one in Washington D.C. and the original in New Canaan, Connecticut. The franchise locations are located in Los Angeles, Kansas City, Chicago, Seattle, and Miami. The Bead Bar on Board is a moveable Bead Bar intended especially for cruise ships. The Bead Bar is compiled of 15 full-time and 20 part-time employees. The Bead Bar has struggled at times because efficient tools were missing. In previous years, good organization has been a dilemma for the reason that the systems in place worked, but technology has advanced and systems need to be updated. The Bead Bar has many locations throughout the United States, a powerful networking system is vital to preserve communication on the inside stores and between all of the other stores. Proposals will be made for the new complex structural design of the Bead Bar, and the options will be evaluated.

What We Know

Computers are influential in operating the Bead Bar, due to the nature of the business. The Bead Bar is continuously processing requests for supplies and totaling consumer orders. When Bead Bar had a paper-based system, they encountered a high frequency of human error because they found it rather hard to keep everything well structured.
