“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something is more important than fear,” this quote comes Ambrose Redmoon. I myself have my own definition of the word courage. According to the dictionary, courage means the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain etc. It can also mean bravery or to be without fear. There are also some concrete symbols that represent the word courage.

Another quote about courage comes from the British politician Winston Churchill. Mr. Churchill said, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” What I like about this quote is that it shows both sides of the meaning.
