Summary: Honda is offering a different type of deal to inspire customer loyalty. They partnered up with Solar City, a residential and commercial installer, to offer their customers home solar systems at very too little no cost. Honda is financing millions into it but also as an aim to help promote its environmental concerns. They think it could help open doors to more solar leasing companies, which have been very minimal. They hope the project will lead to integrating solar power as well as electric recharging for its customers. Executives see more promise in cutting carbon emissions through solar power than electrical vehicles it would sell.
