Write a 100- to 150-word response to each of the following questions:

• Was there anything in either the University Of Phoenix Student Code Of Conduct or the Student Code of Academic Integrity that surprised you? If so, what was it? Why were you surprised? If not, why not?

No, not really, because the university’s Student code of conduct are set of rules delineating the responsibilities of each student to help create a safe learning environment for everyone.

It shouldn’t surprise that rules are applied and for a good reasons. Many of the school I have attended before university of phoenix they have the same set of rules, they’re maybe different on wordings, but very similar in their context and meanings. We are supposed to be doing the right thing not only for ourselves but for those around us. It is set us to help us be aware of actions and behaviors that are acceptable and are not acceptable in any given environment. Most of the rules are the same set of rules as other schools have. One for example is Plagiarizing and plagiarizing is not acceptable and this rule is enforced across many fields of academies and work places.

• What did you learn about the behaviors considered important for an ethical learner or student in the University of Phoenix learning community?

I learned that we must be honest and be descent and make good choices when we doing our works. We are responsible for our actions. I learn that all students must have a great deal of respect whether it is for their classmates or professors. When we give respect to others we will be be treated in a respectful manner in return. You have to be respectful and truthful. Listening to others and taking their statements into consideration, being honest and spreading positivity are some of the things that are necessary in order to help you make the right choices and better your school community.
