Information System Business Problem Dimensions

Within each company or business, there exists an information system that aids in the production of the business to meet the demands and needs of both company or business, and customer. There are three dimensions that business problems consist of, organizations, the people, and the information technology involved. Organizations for example, consist of a structure involving various categories. It is these categories that are the example of the division of labor, managers, operational employees, and such. The people for example, are trained, and become skilled to run the involved information systems that help produce the business products and hold company information. The information technology involved within a business can consist of hardware, software, networking, telecommunication, data management, and the Internet, coming together to aid in the company’s meet of what change and complexity that may take place within its surroundings. Each dimension is what is valuable to all companies or businesses.

It is quite often that IT and Information systems are mistaken to be of the same subject, and often misinterpreted. IT is an abbreviation for information technology and is defined as a technology consisting of both hardware and software that companies may utilize to do the business they are intended to do.
