The Taratino World’s

It’s not a secret that am I fan of Quintin Taratino. I enjoy all of his movies, including the bad ones, because I thirst for the style of his movies. I love the world he creates in every one of them. Now, most say that all his movies are the same, or play out the same. Blood and gore, foul language and bad attitudes are all a constant in Tarantino’s films. I don’t deny that this is true. He has a distinct style, but what most don’t realize is that it’s all intentional. Over the last thirty years he has been interconnecting all of his movies through subtle character relationships and that infamous Taratino dialogue. He acknowledges it himself and admits that he’s been doing it to build an entirely separate world from the world we live in while still coming off as real. Now, these are ties easter-eggs that only people who have seen his movies would truly value and understand. That being said let to take you through Quintin Taratino’s mind as we explore his Realer Than Real World, and his Movie Movie World.

I’d say the biggest connection that can be made on your first go through is the relationship between Reservoir Dogs’ Vic Vega and Pulp Fictions Vincent Vega. It’s true that in Reservoir Dogs Vic goes by the code name “Mr. Blonde” , but in the scene where he is offered the job they say his real name. Not to mention the fact Taratino himself has said there were always plans to do a Vega Brother’s movie, but given Vincent and Vic are both killed in their respective films, the Vega Brother’s would have had to been set pre-1980’s. Given both the actors continued aging, this was not an option. However, it is the new millennium and there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to de-age them with computers. That’s just me though. I’d love to see that movie.
