1 There are lots benefits we gain from the marketing research. It’ll help us to know and identfy our customers and it’ll minimize the effect of the potential risk we’re going to take. Also, it’ll help us to evaluate potential opportunities.
2 İt’s basic search. Because, it only serves the mentioned company’s purposes.
3 The 4P’s of marketing covers the integrated marketing mix. Product, Price, Promotion, Place.These are important aspects of a research study. For example, a company should place the price carefully because people’s income vary by different states.
4 Applied research focusing the solve the practical problems. But, basic research is focusing on the satisfy the one person’s needs about the topic (scientist, engineer).
A new Joe on the Block
1 Where should Joe open his new coffee shop?
Which kind of coffe should he focus?
What is going to be best price among other coffee shops?
2 He can give knowledge to Joe about the situation of a coffee industry, select the target markets, opportunities, potential future problems.
3 Each studies are relevant but in pieces. No study cited above is answering the all questions to Joe on itself. But they’re helpful anyway.
4 The first two study is based on one person’s opinion. It’s serious flaw. To maket he research more persuasive, researchs must be done among a sample of people.
5 First, Joe needs to analyze the problem.
Second, he should prepare about the problem.
Third, he should collect data about the problem.
Fourth, he needs to analyze the datas.
Fifth, he should evaluate the datas and complete the study.
6 Definitely not. Some prefer Starbucks, some prefer mcdonalds. Some prefer cheap coffee, some prefer expensive coffee.
7 Joe needs to hire a Professional about the job. As I mentioned above, a consultant could give serious information than the internet researchs.
