Globalization is known to be the process of companies to work out of local boards, such like selling their products or services to customers in other countries. Globalization is a process of two sides. It gives great opportunities and advantages to companies and in same time it applies a set of difficulties and threats.

Search the web or visit the Library to answer the following set of questions:

1- List and clarify two advantages (opportunities) of globalization to companies.

Globalization increase the opportunities for new markets. Numerous companies around the world have started investing in different categories to earn more customers for their brands.

Globalization helped big companies to have subsidiary companies and plants in many countries. Also globalization helped in the growth of joint ventures and technical collaborations between companies from different countries.

2- List and clarify two advantages (opportunities) of globalization to customers.

Globalization promoted the international trade, this given rise to intense competition in the markets. It means that no longer does one company can control that market many companies are competing to earn costumers attentions. So because of the aggressive competitions between companies the product quality has been enhanced so as to retain the customers. Also customers because of the globalization today may compromise with the price range but not with the quality of the product. Low or poor quality can adversely affect consumer satisfaction.

Globalization has brought in competition in the markets. Since there are varied products to select from, the producer can sustain only when the product is competitively priced. There is every possibility that a customer may switch over to another producer if the product is priced exorbitantly. Therefore, affordable pricing has benefited the consumer in a great way.
