NANOTECHNOLOGY, BIOMETRICS AND RFID 1
Abstract
There are exciting leaps in technology that are taking place in our world today. We have accomplished amazing things like cloning, genetic engineering, and space flight through the help of advanced technology. When a technology amazingly goes above and beyond our expectations we call that technology super human. The future of technology is limitless. In the very near future, we can expect human lifespan to increase, a manned mission to Mars, the use of cybernetics, genetic therapy drugs, and alternative energy going mainstream, to name a few. Most of the advances in technology are aimed at helping people live longer and healthier or are aimed at helping people to get more work done with less labor. Nanomachines, one of the largest advances in the world, one day it will be able to self replicate and produce continually. On the other side of the coin, cloning, stem cells, and embryology point to growing new parts for the human body that are identical to each human that needs it. The possibilities of emerging technology can only grow as much as we are willing to work together as a human race. Perhaps the largest obstacle in front of us is that people must be responsible and ethical to have powerful technologies (2008).

Smaller, faster, more efficient these are the qualities that drive science and industry to create new nanoscale structures that will help to speed up computers (2008). Scientists at the University of California, Santa Barbara have made a major contribution to this field by designing a new nanotechnology that will ultimately help make computers smaller, faster, and more...
