Organization Selection Paper

For the week six strategic plan paper I would like to choose an organization that would be a start-up that I may create in the future. For this start up I will have to focus on an entrepreneurial idea that is of substantive interest, so this project leaves you with a product you may leverage in the future. The following is a justification for selecting this organization.

The organizations name

If I was to become an entrepreneur then I would name the company Sie-East co. Ever since I was a kid I have had a dream of opening up a company with my friend Ms. Siefert. The company would be a partnership instead of a sole proprietorship. 

The purpose of the organizations existence

The company would exist to provide exclusive hand made products to our customers. The company would design and hand make greeting, birthday, get well, and other types of paper cards and goods for our customers’ needs. The company would go to any lengths to make sure at the customer’s request for these goods were met.

Why this organization is of interest to me

This organization is of interest to me because I have always dreamt of actually making money from something we already do. Ms. Siefert and I have been making cards for friends and family for years, crafting them to their specifications and giving them on special occasions. It would be nice to actually put a plan in place to make this dream a viable reality.

Availability of organizational data

There is no records for this company as of yet. This is because Sie-East co. is a start-up company. I would have to forecast and make any data that is needed for any future projects.
