The Riordan Manufacturing Company is trying to find a new system that is going to consolidate all of their human Resource related data. Currently the information that is going to be part of the new system is spread out in all the different departments of the company. The new system is going to allow the employee to save their data to a centralized location, but in the process it will only allow viewing access to certain employees. The access of the certain people will be much the same as the system that is currently in place, but it is located in the single system. The last part to this is that the new system will not be a quick process, with that it is going to make it safer for the company to complete test runs for a few end users before they completely release the new system. Companies should not try to quickly consolidate data center operations (Lemos, 2009).

Application architecture defines the technologies to be used by one or more information systems in terms of data, network components, interface and process. What it is going to do is serve as a framework for general design. The decisions that are going to be made during general systems design constitute the application architecture of the systems. The data that is going to put in the system is going to be all of the information that is related to the Human Resource Department daily functions. With the current conditions a lot of the data that is consolidated is the input in the HRIS system. A HRIS system or Human Resource Information System is the software solution for all small to large corporations that is going to help automate and manage their Human Resources such as accounting activities and payroll management. A HRIS is going to have to provide all the capability to control everything that is HR related achieve efficiency and quality in HR decision making and make sure to improve all employee and managerial productivity and effectiveness.
