WAYS TO FACE THE OBESITY

Nowadays, you can read on the daily newspaper or watch the news on TV that the alarming number of overweight U.S. children is increasing. According to a July report, the National Center for Health Statistics indicate 15 percent of children ages 6 to 18 were overweight in 2000” The obesity in children has been a trouble for most of the parents. Obesity affects psychologically and physically aspects such us low self-esteem, heart disease, diabetes, migraine, cholesterol and many more diseases which are going to harm children’s body later.

To change this situation, many people are trying to do something to make their children’s life healthier from the small families to the Government of each country such as Michelle Obama. She is proposing some solutions to help communities with overweight or obese children.

The problem of obesity in children can be solved by doing a nutritional culture at an early age, exercises and psychological treatment. The benefits of healthy eating are the right choice for everyone’s body. There are many benefits to the body when people eat healthy. The three benefits that point out are keeping a healthy weight, preventing health problems and acquiring more energy. Even though there are people who think there are no health risks when they avoid eating healthy, eating healthy helps them have a healthier body, and prevent diseases and other risks to the body. Some reasons people may avoid healthy eating are that they are not financially able to buy the necessary items to have a healthy diet or that they just don’t know how to maintain a healthful diet. Everyone’s body is different so people need to find the right way to develop a healthy eating habit for there selves, so they can receive the most out of eating a healthy meal every day.
