Team Ground Rules and Guidelines

What are the general expectations for all members of the team?

* Members will treat one another with respect and value one another’s time

* Members will resolve conflicts directly and promptly

* Members will work together collaboratively to meet all deadlines as assigned

* Members will ask for help early if assignment timeline might be compromised

* Members will have an opportunity to view the team’s final product at least one day prior to due date

* Members will respect each other’s contributions and accept constructive critiquing

Expectations for Time Management and Involvement

(Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc.)

* Team message board communication will be the primary mode of contact

* Team members will remain accessible by checking the message board regularly; goal of 4x/wk

* Team members will give prior notice if unavailability is anticipated (e.g. moving, on vacation)

* Team members will participate actively and contribute to all group assignments

* Team members will attempt to contact each other by phone/email if they have not participated in team discussion.
