Organizational Behavior

Organizational Behavior is the learning and function of knowledge about how individuals, people, and groups work in organizations. It does this by enchanting а system approach. That is, it understands people organization relationships in terms of the whole organization, whole person, whole group, and whole social system. Its function is to construct better relationships by achieving human organizational objectives, objectives, and social objectives. (Tomey, 191)

Elements of Organizational Behavior

The organization's foundation rests on management's values, philosophy, goals and vision. This in revolve drives the organizational culture which is composed of the informal organization, formal organization, and the social environment. The culture verifies the type of leadership, communication, and group dynamics within the organization. The workers recognize this as the quality of work life which directs their degree of inspiration. The ultimate outcomes are performance, individual satisfaction, and personal growth and progress. All these fundamentals come together to build the model or framework that the organization operates from. (Resnick, 211)

Management and Control

Each organization's main focus varies from company to company. Some companies focus on profits and stature whilst others focus on the service that they provide to its customers. These outcomes are normally determined by the role or product that they provide and are normally backed up by а mission or goal statement. Organizations rely strongly on the activities of its employees as well as the contributions and leadership from its management team. This spells out the importance of the managerial; role and the control that they use to create the required results. (Black & Hawks, 146)
