There has been a major increase in healthcare coverage for many individuals which are a concern and it has gotten the attention of the stakeholders that may suffer from this problem. The chances of individuals getting the proper care will be very high due to the fact of not being able to afford adequate treatment or even regular checkups. Now if everyone had healthcare this will increase outcome of more people with a healthier lifestyle. In order for individuals to not decline in health they are recommended to get some type of preventive health screenings which will give a higher chance in the workforce so they can keep their health insurance. Avoiding the screening will cause individuals to be out of work and is a higher chance of losing health insurance. Unfortunately everyone would like to have some kind of health insurance but the cost of maintaining these policies may become a burden for many.
The U.S is at greater cost each year because of the uninsured or put in harm’s way when employees choose not have insurance or either they cannot afford it. Being able to be provided with health care is necessary to obtain quality healthcare. “The financial burden of uncompensated care is severe for hospitals and physicians across the nation (Johnson, 2009 p. 272)”. Due to the lack of health insurance many individuals may wait to obtain preventative care or either delay in treating life threatening situations. Many people find their selves ending up in the emergency room to get treated which is causing the prices to rise for a visit in the ED. Some people option is not even waiting until the last minute because they may get sick repeatedly and is forcing them to stay out of the workforce.
