Stakeholder Influences

When planning a program it is very important to understand the needs, expectations, and those potential issues of the project stakeholders. It is very crucial for the success of any project. Before you begin to do the work in the project you much first familiarize yourself with the stakeholders and any potential problems that may create your project or it may also break it.

We have the staff and the administrators which we need to look and see what their needs and expectations are for the Madison Hospital. The staff at this hospital wants to help these children and in order to do so they need to have the most recent training and technology provided to them. The staff and the administrators would expect to be offered non competitive pay rates. If this Hospital is going to be one of the top scaled facilities then they need to provide their staff with a comfortable salary to keep them around. If there is a lot of funding be pushed into the facility then it’s only important to show your staff the they are also worth keeping around.

We also have the community in which Madison Children Hospital will serve. This community is a very important part of the success of this program. Community members include the school and parents of those suffering from chronic illnesses. The schools are expecting the Hospital to find out why this illness is spreading, because it is interfering with the children’s education. And when the kids are not in school not only does the child miss out on proper education but also the school loses funding. The schools staff needs to find answer as to why this illness is spreading, because they have many other students and parents that are going to have their suspicions and they may take their children out of school also in fear of them catching it.
