Abstract
The Chief Operating Officer of Riordan Manufacturing has requested the development of a single integrated system. This composition will discuss the stakeholders involved and the techniques and tools used to acquire information. Identifying the key factors that ensure the information is acquired successfully is what will stage the software development life cycle for triumph. This document is one of three parts, by the end of part 1 the reader will have a greater understanding of the projects scope and why it is important to the final development of the project.
Service Request Sr-rm-022; a new single integrated application
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Riordan Manufacturing has put in a request to develop a new integrated information system for the human resources department of all of Riordan Manufacturing plant locations. Hugh McCauley, the COO, envisions a collaboration of all the HR systems into an easy to use application. With the request in it is up to the project team to make the execution happen. The focus of the project, for project manager McCauley, is the deployment and implementation of a new “more sophisticated, state of the art, information systems” (McCauley, 2011).
Stakeholder
Planning, designing and implementing a new software application requires many stages of development and execution prior to the live deployment and implementation of the new system.
