Home schooling and public education are the most popular choices of deciding what schooling will work best for your child. Home schooling teaches in a smaller environment and your child has more of a one on one connection with the teacher, while public schooling teaches several students in a bigger environment with only one teacher. Children that have different learning abilities and pace can learn better in one environment than the other, but can be difficult to choose what’s best for them and what your family beliefs will be supported most. Home schooling and public schools have a lot in common, but also can have different schedule times, different religious and culture stands, and social skills.

Depending on your child, home schooling could be the best educational path. Home schooling is flexible with time. If your child learns at a fast pace and favors one subject than the other, they can just move on from the subject they just finish and start with another subject that needs more concentration. Your child won’t have to worry about wasting their time waiting for the next class or subject to begin to be able to continue working on learning materials. By not having a set schedule time for learning, your child’s learning time within the day can be adjusted to fit scheduling conflicts. They can also learn more in a day and have less distractions cause by overly loud students in public education. Home Schooling can develop a child’s self without outside sources. You can teach your child about their religion and morals to develop them to follow them. You can also shelter your child from peer pressure situations that can affect their judgment of being involved in an activity that they should or shouldn’t be doing. With home schooling, you will have to push them more to be sociable because they are not always around other children like they would be in public education.
