PRINCIPAL’S LETTER

Dear Barrett Families,

We are now at the “gear up” time of the school year. The final three and one-half months of the school year will fly by. This is the time of year when students need to continue to make school a priority and to either improve or maintain their grades.

I reviewed school expectations with students via the school broadcast in February. In addition, this information was sent to parents by connect-ed phone system. All staff at Barrett will continue to emphasize our three school expectations: Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible. Please remind your student of the following policies as they leave the house each morning:

* All electronic devices such as cell phones, CD players and iPods are to be turned off and hidden in backpacks during the entire school day.

* Students are to wear clothing without visible holes.

* Dresses, skirts and shorts are to be worn knee length or longer....
