1. Of the three types of organizational justice, which one does workplace bullying most closely resemble?

• Out of the three types of organizational justice, workplace bullying bears a resemblance to the Interactional justice. It is defined as a degree to which people affected by decision are treated by dignity and respect. Bullying can be done in different ways. People must be treated equally, it isn’t fair to threatened someone or say something to your subordinate, using the power of superiority to bully people.

2. What aspects of motivation might workplace bullying reduce? For example, are there likely to be effects on an employee’s self efficacy? If so, what might those effects be?

• Adler’s ERG Theory is the first thing that came up in my mind. There are three core needs that must be satisfied: Existence, Relatedness, and Growth. In order to perform well in the workplace these needs must be given properly to the employees. First is existence, it is the physiological and safety needs of a person. A person may not have any problem regarding physiological needs but if safety of a person is at risk because of the bullies around him or her it wouldn’t be good for his or her performance. It may affect the person’s attendance or performance through work. The person suffering from such bullying might be afraid to go to work because bullying doesn’t only refer to verbal acts; it can also be done physically. Second relatedness, the social aspect of a person can be reducing. If the bullied person already suffers from too much trauma, it would be hard for him or her to work with others. Lastly growth, it affects the esteem and self actualization of one’s personality. If these two are being affected it will be hard for the person to be motivated. He wouldn’t believe to his or her capabilities and also the employee will be doubtful to all things that he or she is doing. If self- efficacy will be lessen more, the employee...
