When I received the results from the plagiarism checker, it states that the “Lab Courses Go Virtual” paper came back with a 98% similarity of plagiarism. This meaning that the entire paper was plagiarized. If I were an instructor that came across this situation with a student, I would address the situation with the following:

I would like to address the situation at hand with the assignment that you have turned in. Plagiarism is dishonest and against University of Phoenix guidelines. It is something that you know very well brings down your self-confidence as a student. It is very clear to me that the assignment you turned in was not your original work. When you submit someone else’s work, it is not only fraudulent, it is dishonest, and against school policy. You will need to review the school guidelines on plagiarism. You can find these guidelines in the University Library.

Once you review the Plagiarism guidelines, you are more than welcome to do the assignment again with your original work, and resubmit it within the four-day period in which the assignment was due. There will be a late 10% late penalty for each day that the assignment is late. If you choose not to resubmit the assignment, I will be forced to automatically fail you on the assignment in which case you will also fail this course. You then will be under review with the University. I look forward to your resubmission; I know you can correct this. Keep in mind I am here for you if you need anything, I am here to help you succeed!
