Business Plan Analysis: Take Five Sports Bar and Grill

Take Five Sports Bar and Grill is looking to expand their business in multiple locations in Anytown Metro, and also a single store to be opened in Destin, Florida. They have researched and created their idea and laid it out within a business plan. Within the business plan, they have laid out their objectives for this expansion process, the reasons for it, and the benefit it will have on the company. They also include projections as to the income expected within months of opening. They have even included a marketing strategy to obtain new customers at the new locations. The business has also taken into account in their plan summary, the ideal management for each location. They have included who will obtain the executive management position, and all his credentials’, who will oversee all the stores. This plan seems well drawn out, however, to ensure every detail is thought of and weigh the pros and cons, a SWOT analysis is best.

There is much strength within this business plan. It seems as if they have abundantly research the areas in which they wanting to place these locations. They have also obtained an experienced management professional to lead these stores. They have selected a very intelligent man for the management position; however, they never speak of his managing style. They have research each area and its surroundings before choosing the locations of the new stores. They have investigated other businesses in the area, and chose a mix of business and entertainment areas. This will help them to obtain wider spectrum of people and profession backgrounds, which will help expand business and cause potential demand in newer locations. The capital in reserve is sufficient enough to make and sell for six months to a year. These things combine make the business plan sound very promising.
