Choosing a Nursing School

When it came time for me to choose what nursing school I wanted to attend there were several schools on the list. I had to sit down a go through the advantages and disadvantages of each school to figure out the best choice for me. Tuition for me was not as big of a concern because I was in the military and my college tuition is covered under the G.I. Bill. That being said I wanted to get the best education for the money; therefore I automatically wanted to choose a school that offered a bachelorette degree. I also looked at what type of clinical rotations the schools offered for their students. I wanted to be somewhere that I could get plenty of hands on experience while training to be a nurse. Some of the advantages I hope to gain from attending Baptist is job placement, Baptist student have a reputation of being selected over other candidates from other area schools who apply for the same positions. Also, having a BSN degree is one step closer to completing a Master’s level...
