Riordan Manufacturing Background

Riordan Manufacturing is a plastics manufacturer based in San Jose, CA with plants in Albany, GA, Pontiac, MI, and Hangzhou, China. Plastics manufactured include beverage containers, fan parts, and custom plastic parts. This in turn means they have several varied clients, including beverage manufacturers and the Department of Defense. The company has revenues exceeding $1 Billion a year.

Current Business System for Finance

The current system for Riordan’s finance and accounting department is inefficient to say the least. Currently, all locations have their own general ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Invoice, and Payroll systems. The EDSS, Barcode reading, and EDI are done only in San Jose.
