In my Personality Spectrum and Learning Assessments, my highest personality scores are thinker, interpersonal, and verbal/linguistic. These three personalities are those I chose to develop a group strategy for effective communication and collaboration. The learning styles I chose are to convert material into logical charts or mind maps, outline chapter, and teaching material to others. I will focus on developing a strategy to make these three styles work together as a team.

My three chosen personalities to develop a strategy for are the thinker from the Personality Spectrum, the interpersonal and the verbal/linguistic from the Multiple Pathways to Learning. I think these three personalities would work well together in a group setting because they bring different talents and skills to the group. The thinker of the group would be logical and good at abstract thinking and ideas. This person would also be good at problem solving. The interpersonal personality would be able to see things from perspectives in addition to their own. They are also skilled in working within a group. Meanwhile the verbal/linguistic personality would add their understanding of language and explaining to form the other personalities’ thoughts into a cohesive whole. This person may also be skilled at persuading others to do something. These three personalities would mesh together very well because of their differences.

The three learning styles I chose to make a group strategy for are converting material into logical charts or mind maps, outlining chapters, and teaching material to others. The person whose learning style is converting material into logical charts or mind maps would have visual aids for the rest of the group to work with. This person would be able to take all the information gathered and put it in a logical format for team members who aren’t good at this task.
