1. Discuss initial ideas on how you would do the research? You should discuss your intended research strategy (e.g. exploratory, explanatory or evaluative), sampling strategy, data collection methods and data analysis methods?

* Research Strategy: The research is based on an Ethic issue for Primark and the allegation about using an illegal immigrants, and low payment workers through one of the company’s suppliers. This type of cases needs a combination of Exploratory strategy to identify the industry and the laws related to it (Case study research), Explanatory Strategy to determine the illegal behaviors and its affect on the company’s reputation (Interpretive research), and Evaluative Strategy to find the impact of these allegations on the consumers purchasing behavior (Survey).

* Sampling Strategy: Non-probability sampling – Purposive sampling is the most appropriate type of sampling in this research. Aiming to Primark customers & other shoppers, especially for the same type of business (Clothes Business). Through a questioner we can collect their perceptions of Primark allegations.
