Introduction

When applying a new system, the most important stage is the implementation stage. This stage is where everything begins to take place. After all areas are discussed, work begins on coding, testing, installation, documentation, training, and ongoing support. In a timely manner the implementation stage takes your project from the beginning to end.

Coding

When redoing your system, coding is something that needs to be done professionally. You should plan on getting code writers from outside of the company to write the code that will be used to better our system. Once a common rule set is decided, all developers can share it through the use of a common configuration file ("The Benefits of Coding Standards", 2012). Three or four high level code writers will be able to handle the job. While the code writers are doing the code, it would really helpful in the long run if you have your in house code writers observe so they get better at writing code for your system and at the same time they will see how the code is structured so if something needs to be updated they will be able to handle the task themselves instead of you having to go out again and get code writers.

Testing

After the coding has been complete it will be time to begin the test stage. Testing is the most prominent part of software development ("Benefits of Testing Code", 2012). During this stage we will run a multitude of tests and scenarios that will ensure the system can handle the load of work we will be using it for and more. When testing a system it is a must that you test beyond what is needed. Going beyond what is needed will allow you to know the limits of your system and what type of work load you can do.
