Title : It's Scrappy - Scrapbook

It's Scrappy is a scrapbook company , who is a small start-up looking to offer new life to a up and coming market. The business plan has great potentials and a few weaknesses that I will explore as I get into the analysis. The business plan for this business is very detailed and has been written very well.

Strengths for It's Scrappy

It's scrappy has a great business plan in accessing , the plan I noticed they were going to offer classes to teach scrap booking. They have staff that will be knowledgeable in are aspects of scrap booking , their knowledge wont be limited to just creating scrapbooks. They will be able to assist with proper paper choices and other necessities for scrap booking. Their product will satisfy consumers needs, there are no other stores that are currently dedicated to scrap booking, Their competitors are craft stores , whom have limited options for scrap booking and supplies. Even if competitors are to offer classes, It’s scrappy presents a knowledgeable staff whose sole focus is on one area gives them a foot in front of the competition. They have a sound structure in place for their staff and their training program looks to address having the approiate staff to progress sales and growth. Looking at their marketing plan and strategy it is well thought out . They look to segment a specific group, mainly women whom seem to be the biggest segment for scrap booking . To start out in the first year it is a great idea to capture potetional revenue from a market whom are already instrumental in purchasing scrap booking items. Their ability to operate for the next six months is realistic , as they plan to seek outside funding to address inventory needs. For this particular company the organizational structure for them is perfect for a small business, it controls cost , since they have a relatively small staff.
