Project Scope Statement

PROJECT SCOPE

This project is being undertaken to satisfy the need to take advantage of all the space allotted to us by reconstructing the layout of the current cage setup and adding two additional cages for increased potential revenue.

The project is to be executed under a strict no more than 2 day downtime deadline while also costing less than $2,000 in resource cost and materials.

DELIVERABLES

The new layout will take advantage of the space in the current facility that is not being used.

* • 2 new full length batting cages

* • 2 new machines for use with the new batting cages

• New cages are to feature the ability to become adaptable hitting cages with the possibility for machine usage.

MILESTONES

* 1. Hire construction firm – February 6th, 2013

* 2. Materials purchased and delivered to warehouse – February 7th, 2013

* 3. Date for demolition scheduled – February 9th, 2013

* 4. Reconstruction of the new cages —February 10th, 2013

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

0 1. Deconstruction of the current layout of the cages must be completely taken

1 down.

* 2. All the cages must be laid out to ensure the correct layout.

* 3. All poles for erecting the nets will be anchored into the concrete at their

* correct positions.

* 4. All hardware and clips must be connected to the erected poles.

* 5. All nets must be securely fastened to the erected poles and clips.

LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS

* 1. The cages will be erected to the specifications of the layout created to

* utilize the available space in the facility.

* 2. The Torres Construction firm is responsible for all demolition and

* reconstruction of all the cages and their hadware.

* 3. Site work is to conform to the strict deadline of February 9th and

* February 10th, 2013.
