Packaging Coordinator:This person will assist the brand team in the transition of tri-lingual packaging by managing the production of artwork for US/Canada/Mexico.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

1.Administer the process for the initial packaging quote system with outside packaging agencies, vendors, and global sourcing.

2.Mock-up product, package, and smart labeling samples and review samples with brand management to ensure correct reflection of customer packaging specifications.

3.Act as a liaison for final invoicing and debiting of vendors for all packaging costs.

4.Administer the execution and delivery of product packaging initiatives for brand launches including coordinating with marketing to determine the correct label/brand to be used (private, OfficeMax, or new).

5.Ensure quality results for each stage of packaging development projects including review and interpretation of packaging style guide to ensure accurate color matching to customer specifications.

6.Communicate graphic and color standards determined by marketing (as well as delivery priorities and client requirements for quality, standards, timelines, etc.) to all parties involved.

7.Manage packaging projects including tracking and follow-up with all project collaborators (packaging suppliers, design firms, and OMX) to expedite the approval process for the brand or label, ensuring all tracking information is updated on a daily basis into the appropriate project timeline, monitoring critical packaging milestone dates, and communicating to applicable packaging project teams.

8.Assist management with written and verbal communication for vendors, merchandising, overseas offices, and support pyramids. Assist in the preparations for sourcing events and other presentations.

9.Collaborate cross-functionally (sourcing, marketing, and merchandising) to ensure positive quality, cost, and timeline results.
