Riordan System Proposal Draft

The Riordan Manufacturing Inc. is a global manufacturing company that produces plastic beverage containers in Albany, Georgia, custom plastic parts in Pontiac, Michigan, plastic fan parts in Hangzhou, China, and San Hose, California houses the research and development team as well as the headquarters office. With the cost of airfare and other travel expenses, Riordan has found they are over budget because of training materials and necessary training sessions in the United States and China. Riordan’s mission includes ensuring that the “employees are well informed and properly supported” (Riordan Manufacturing Inc., 2013). Learning Team C would like to propose a solution to keep Riordan’s budget balanced, to sustain growth, and to keep employees well trained and educated.

Information System Description

Learning Team C wants to propose two systems to complete this task. A Polycom teleconference system and a Remote Learning Service used together to provide effective training and education.

Description
