Having a successful business, you have to make sure that everything is falling in line with other. Human Resource Management and Project Management are very important to a business that is trying to get up off the ground. In this paper, we will discuss human resource management and project management principles and compare them to operations management principles and the importance of professional service organizations in standardizing a profession.

Human resource management started from the task-oriented nature of personnel administration in the 1980s and 1990s to a strategy-focused extension of the organization in the 2000s(www.shrm.org). Human resource management can be driven by several business principles like the “Ten C’s” collection of Human Resources principles that was developed by an human resource management expert name Alan Prince. Alan Prince is the author of ‘Human Resource Management in a Business Context,’ and he states the 10 principles are comprehensiveness, credibility, communication, cost effectiveness, creativity, coherence, competence, control, change and commitment. According to these principles, they tie directly into the same principles as Operations Management. In operation management, you have to utilize credibility to be effective in your role and of course communication is a must to make a business successful. You will also need to be cost effective so your business will be profitable, and being creative with your task will help you get to your final objective. Being competent and having a high knowledge will help you be successful, and you have to maintain control so everything will go smoothly.
